Aromas of lavender and crushed violets. Sweetened spices, dark cherries and mulberries are complemented by more savoury notes of balsamic herbs and mocha. The palate is voluminous and soft with a ripe frame of tannins providing structure and length to this deliciously fragrant wine.

Today, the McHenry Hohnen vineyards are managed using 100% biodynamic methods, which dramatically improve the vitality and health of the soil, leading to wines that will continue to impress for years to come.
The Hazels’ vineyards are located in the south of the Margaret River region with blessings of cooling Southern Ocean influencer, a northerly aspect, plenty of sunshine and free-draining, ironstone gravel loam soil. Planting with a wide range of varietals, the Hazel’s vineyard forms the backbone of their portfolio.
