Melnik 55

750mL

This indigenous to South West Bulgaria grape variety was created by the crossing of the ancient Broad Leaved Melnik Vine and the French grape variety Valdiguie. It is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Medium to full bodied with a dark ruby color and aromas of black cherries and berries, sweet spices and vanilla. The finish is soft and long with hints of black pepper and tobacco. It comes from an area famous for its natural wine cellar caves where wines mature happily.
